Millie & Liam

Millie and Liam married in September 2025, choosing to celebrate with a small gathering of their closest family and friends.

The brief for the day was simple yet personal, centred on a palette of sage green and cream, soft, minimal tones designed to let the building’s beautiful architecture do the talking. Exposed brick walls and wooden beams lined the ceiling, while rolling hills beyond framed the space, creating a setting that felt deeply connected to their home in the Cairngorm National Park.

As our design meetings unfolded and we got to know them more closely, their warmth and playful nature began to shine through. In response, we evolved the design to better reflect them as a pair, while still honouring their original vision of allowing the venue to stand out.

By introducing richer, warmer tones, layered textures, abundant florals, and the glow of candlelight, we enhanced the space without overpowering it, creating a setting where both the couple’s personalities and the character of the building could truly shine.

On the day itself, we coordinated every element, guiding both the couple and their guests through each moment. With every detail managed behind the scenes, the day unfolded with ease, allowing them to be fully present and to enjoy each part of their celebration.

Their wedding was a beautiful example of how intimate celebrations are  incredibly special.
